One
of the qualities that endears Nora to us most is
her extraordinary kindness. Kathy (aka WSM ... aka
JShriefer) came up with the idea for the ROARKE
award ... She found and sent to me Irish
Thoroughbred ... and called it RAOK (Roberts
Act of Kindness) ...
Well, since those letters are so similar to one of
our FAVE men created by one of our FAVE persons, I
thought it was only appropriate to change a few
things around.
The challenge to each of you is to nominate someone
for a R.O.A.R.K.E. ... The criteria? An act of
kindness that reflects what Nora stands for:
integrity, compassion, humor, openness, generosity,
honesty, passion, romance, time, etc., etc.
I think Kathy even volunteered to monitor the
R.O.A.R.K.E. awards (didn't you?) ... seriously, if
you know of someone in our cyber-family who
deserves recognition for something special to you,
LET US KNOW! We'll put it in ADWOFF ... and begin
to celebrate KINDNESS everywhere! <g>
