Nora in Japan
This dated 8-28 ...
We had dinner last night with Guy from
Australia, Miniko and the editorial direction of
Harlequin here. He's leaving soon, Miniko tells me,
because it's very difficult to be a man in what's
basically an all female company.
The restaurant was one of those grill places where
you get the watch the guy cook your food. Pretty
cool. BW had saki, but I had a glass of champagne.
You just can't take the west out of this girl.
LOL.
It was in a very happening part of Tokyo. Nightclub
area, lots of young people crowded on the streets.
Lots of neon and attractive Japanese men in sharp
suits standing at the club doors. Bouncers, I
suppose. Many of the club goers will just spend the
night in the area, and go home on the train in the
morning.
More media today, and a lunch with my other
publisher here. I'm starting to let myself think of
coming home now. Just a couple more days. I want to
spend a whole day in my pjs, without makeup.
Without smiling. LOL
