Nora's Birthday
October 10, 1997
In September, I asked Nora if we could treat her
to a birthday dinner. Imagine my excitement when
she said that she'd love to! We set the date for
Sunday, October 12, for The Yellow Brick Bank, a
restaurant in Sheperdstown, West Virginia.
Invitations were sent out to Nora's fans online,
but only a handful of the TTP BB/Ns could make it.
Unbeknownest to them and Nora, several of Nora's
closest pals were also invited --- and three, Pat
Gaffney, Beth Harbison, and Mary Kay McComas, were
able to join us. In addition, Nora's son, Dan (the
man), also was able to stop by.
We have shared the following anecdotes online
with our fellow BB/Ns. In addition, Pat's camera
from hell took amazingly clear pictures in a very
dark restaurant. These will be shared with you.
